Bring a brand back to life, which was discontinued several years ago, is undoubtedly a difficult task. Especially in times like these, where many automakers are struggling to survive. Compete in a saturated market is not easy. Ford, GM and Chrysler, to polish the image of retro muscle cars like Mustang, Camaro or Challenger, which not only look good but also sold well. With the reintroduction of Plymouth, the revitalization of an automotive legend would be a promising starting point. The most popular model from Plymouth, has written that even muscle-car history, the Road Runner. For a relaunch of the brand that would be a strong horse. On the one hand, and was the Road Runner, the best-known product of the Chrysler and the other daughter of the bird is still a tight-knit fan base. Michael Leonard has taken the theme and presents us here at his Plymouth Road Runner in a design study.

The design concept for the new Road Runner is stylistically based on the class of 1971 and 1972. The design is updated and, of course, has a modern, dynamic styling. The character of the original is still noticeable. The front has emphasized aggressive, thanks to a unit from their hiding behind the darkened windows of the headlights. The big grill in the middle of the HEMI-powered monsters gepowerte sufficiently with cool air. The hot air can escape again through the balls in the hood.
Especially in the side view of the new Roadrunner works extremely dynamic. Do low roofline, high beltline and big wheels (20 inch front, 22 "rear) do their part in it. The powerful appearance is consistently Characterized with the rear end. Especially a large pipe diffuser for optimal grip and a double - exhaust system. The rear lights are in turn continues the style of the front end. The roof consists of the A-pillar to C-pillar and is largely made of glass separated by a continuous column of aluminum and held together.'s The massive C-pillar itself a cornerstone of the roof structure. Like the original, here are the broken images are used, additional dynamics in optics. Similarly, the choice of colors set to traditional values, because the hearing on the name of Triple Black and Curious Yellow. And the sound of the horn? "beep, beep" of course!
